I've bought a new PC, Windows 7 home premium pre-installed. The hard drive from the old machine XP is now an external hard drive for the new. I have successfully transferred my files from this to the new machine, but am unable to open a number of them, previously WP documents written on the XP word processor. I get a message saying " this is not a valid WIN32 application" when I try. Now, I'm not too savvy about technical stuff, and I'm a bit old!
