AC power frequency is determined by the pole number of the generator p and speed n, freq.

The grid standard frequency is 60 Hertz, which is a constant value. When the hertz increases, the copper and steel consumptions of the generator and transformer decrease, along with the reduction of weight and cost, but will make the inductances of the electrical equipment and transmission line increase, reduce the capacitances and increase losses, thereby reduce the transmission efficiency.

Particularly, at times when there is the risk of input main degradation or failure. An optional mimic status and alarm panel with either digital or analogue metering can be provided on the front door of the frequency converter. A remote alarm interface facility is also available as an optional feature.

Our products usually come with a Neutral, however we can easily create a false neutral, for on board applications. For more information and for product downloads please click here.

I know by using frequency converter we can convert it just like 50 TO 60 hz but what is the point thus your frequency is directly proportional to voltage or what? I bought a washing machine working by electric current volt ,60 Hz.

While my home current is volt ,50 Hz. The standard Frequency here in the Philippines is 60 Hz. The Problem is Frequency Transformer is not available locally. Can i use VFD for these equipment?

VFD output is three phase, it's not suitable for single phase pump. My washing machine is 50hz. Can you help me please? I have refrigerator made by samsung its 60 hz i wint to change it to 50hz.

Can i do this convert and how? You can simply get a GoHz converter to convert 60Hz to 50Hz, or the vice. We are testing our product at 11 kV, 50 Hz, but for specific requirement we have to test the product at 60Hz frequency. So what is the equivalent voltage at 60 Hz for 11kv, 50 Hz? There are a couple of options, depending on your requirements. First if it is only the voltage you need at 60Hz, a high voltage test set that can output a variable frequency at the voltage you require.

Probably very costly. Otherwise a generator at 60Hz outputting Low Voltage with a step up transformer to the required voltage. If voltage is all that is required, you can have the transformer connected to the generator on start up to prevent inrush issues and then just have normal protection.

And secondary side of V at 50Hz would become V at 60Hz. Always remember that this is not a very efficient process of conversion when considering buying a convertor.

These convertors are pricey and when you add the extra power costs you may reexamine the option of buying a new appliance instead. For small appliances you can use a automotive battery and a inverter that puts out the proper frequency. Rare would be the instances when I would find it worth he trouble and expense.

BTW of course you need to recharge the battery as need and it is still not efficient. Can a 60hz power a 50hz industrial motor. Hi Gohz.
